Resch and Root, LLC, was founded in 1978. In their more than thirty years of legal service, attorneys David Resch and William Root have upheld the firm's commitment to provide informative advice, client-centered guidance, and professional estate planning assistance.

Estate Planning Attorneys Since 1978

Resch and Root demonstrate their commitment to comprehensive estate planning through their involvement in a number of estate planning organizations, including Wealth Counsel, a national association of estate planning attorneys and the Ohio Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys. 

The attorneys at Resch and Root  created the Ohio Institute of Estate Planning to provide continuing education programs to financial advisors, accountants and lawyers.  Firm attorneys are active on the Trust and Estates Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association, Delaware Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association.

Contributing to the Future of Complex Estate Planning

The attorneys of Resch and Root have a long-standing commitment to helping other planning professionals develop their understanding of estate planning. 

William Root is an Instructor at the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University where he teaches estate and retirement planning to students in the Family Financial Management Program.   

William Root and  David Resch both speak at seminars on estate planning, educating lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, insurance professionals and others within the legal and financial community.  Both attorneys are also contributing authors to prominent estate planning texts.

In addition to educating future financial advisors, accountants and lawyers, their commitment to teaching others about estate planning ensures that they stay current on estate planning trends, and strategies.
